Kalatmak was a 4 days “All Women Artist Residential Workshop”, organised by OPUS International Artist Forum in Khajuraho and Orchha.

About 50 women artists are participated from all across the country.

During theses 4 days, first 2 days we have spent in Khajuraho and painted inside the premises of Kandriya Temple, Khajuraho. All the artists painted beautiful architecture of temple and also their famous sculptures. They have also painted famous Jain temple and western temple. During the stay of Khajuraho, other guest artists have given their demonstration and shared their skills with other co-artists. 

Hina Bhatt was the guest artist who has talked about oil paintings and given a demonstration to paint a sculpture of temple using oil colors. Other artists who shared their painting skills n knowledge with others are Ruby Midha, Madhubanti and Laishram Jenny. 

Last 2 days was well spent in Orchha which is situated near Jhansi and at 2 hrs. distance from Khajuraho. Artists did pleinair painting in Jahangir palace, Ram mandir and at chhatris on the bank of the Betwa river. On last day, artists exhibited all their painting in famous hotel Rajmahal Palace, Orchha. it was open for all the visitors and Opus got tremendous response from everyone. 

 This Art expedition was learning demonstration by Master Artists via various medium of Art & Expression, Pleinair at outdoor locations, Art Discussion along with a mesmerizing travel experience from Khajuraho to Orchha.
